JuLee Brand has joined event and video production company, DWP Live, as director of marketing/creative. Brand leads DWP Live’s new internal marketing department, which will work to grow the brand’s visibility internationally. Brand is responsible for creating and executing all marketing and public relations aspects of DWP Live’s business, including print and social media campaigns. She also designs marketing materials and produces promotional videos. Brand comes to DWP Live from Hachette Book Group (HBG), where she worked as one of the publisher’s art directors for the last four years. At HBG, Brand designed book jackets and directed photo shoots for the company’s FaithWords, Center Street and Jericho imprints. Brand previously worked as the creative director at High Five Entertainment, creating and animating graphics as well as designing all marketing and identity pieces for the television production company. She also taught graphic design classes at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film and the Art Institute of Tennessee as an adjunct and part-time professor, respectively. “JuLee is well versed in graphic design, video, video production, art direction and film, and her experience and passion show in every campaign that she produces,” said Danny Whetstone, president of DWP Live. “We’re excited to have JuLee on our team and to have her as our driving asset in promoting DWP Live to the world.” Brand earned her bachelor’s degree from Belmont University, and received a Master of Fine Arts in media design from Full Sail University. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
